Ismaili Centre Concert Series: Leo Twins

  • Join us for a magical night of music in the spectacular Rose Garden of the Aga Khan Park, on Sunday, August 31. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m. The evening will feature a captivating performance by Haroon and Sharoon Leo, professionally known as the Leo Twins—multi-instrumentalists whose music transcends borders.

Originally from Pakistan and now based in the United Kingdom, the Leo Twins are celebrated for their unique fusion of Eastern and Western musical styles, which has earned them a devoted global following. Their instrumental rendition of the Diriliş: Ertuğrul theme became an instant sensation, garnering international acclaim.

Sharoon, the elder brother, specializes in the violin and cello, while Haroon plays more than ten instruments, including the guitar, rubab, tabla, piano, cajón, ukulele, mandolin, darbuka, and various percussion instruments.

The duo first rose to prominence on the popular television series Nescafé Basement, and have since collaborated with artists around the world, using music as a powerful medium to celebrate cultural diversity, foster unity, and promote the arts.
